摘要
Ｊａｖａ以其“编写一次，各处运行”的特性，在短短的三年中得到了出人意料的快速发展和广泛应用，本文从多个方面对Ｊａｖａ进行了介绍和评述，包括：Ｊａｖａ语言、Ｊａｖａ平台、Ｊａｖａ标准、Ｊａｖａ应用环境和Ｊａｖａ应用等。
In the past three years, Java technology has evolved way beyond expectations because of its characteristics of 'Write Once, Run Anywhere'. Reviewing of various aspects of Java, including Java language, Java platform, Java standardization, Java application environment, and Java applications in enterprise, is given in this paper.
