摘要
Chinese numismatics has had a long history.It started in Six Dynasties.However,the progress was slow.Genuine as well as counterfeit coins were all included in the catalogues.Not until Qing dynasty,numismatists realized the importance of authentication.The discovery made in the authentication of coins has become important assets of the Chinese numismatics.Through analysis and study of the theory and methods will bring the Chinese numismatics to a new era.
