摘要
2000年版的《高等学校英语专业教学大纲》对培养复合型的英语人才素质提出了新的要求,但对如何培养英语师资却言之甚略。从实施素质教育这一角度来说,英语教育专业同样需要复合型的人才。英语教育专业的复合型素质应分为两大部分——专业素质与非专业素质,应当指出的是,对于后者的关注决不应低于前者。
New demands have been made on cultivating the compound qualities of English talents in the 2000 version of ＂Higher Education Syllabus for English Majors＂, but very little is said about how to train English teachers. From the perspective of quality education, talents with compound qualities are also needed as far as English education is concerned. Compound qualities of English Education majors should be divided into two major pans professional qualities and non-professional qualities, and it should be noted that the concern of the latter should never be less than the former.
