摘要
IRIG—B格式时间码为国际通用时间格式码,广泛应用于测量和测控系统的时间同步。介绍了基于嵌入式微控制器的IRIG—B码编码器的设计方法,并以Xilinx公司的8位软核微控制器PicoBlaze为例,结合可编程门阵列(field programmable gate array,FPGA)可编程器件完成IRIG—B码编码器设计,同时进行了软件仿真、逻辑综合和实验。实验结果证明,使用嵌入武微控制器设计的IRIG—B码编码器具有便于扩展、可移植好、成本较低的优点。
The IRIG-B code is a kind of universal timing code widely used for synchronous between different equipments in observing and controlling system. A solution for an IRIG-B code encoder implemented with FPGA and the embedded microprocessor, for Xilinx PicoBlaze, is presented in this article. And the simulation has been performed. The experimental results prove that the IRIG-B code encoder based on embedded microprocessor has many advantages of scalability, portability and lower cost.
