摘要
介绍一种对生长发育期儿童的各类错有良好矫治效果的正畸新技术。螺旋矫治器是一种具有矫形和正畸双重作用的活动矫治器,通过正畸螺旋装置扩展整个或局部牙弓,继之以各类弹簧矫正牙齿错位,从而达到治疗错胎的目的。本文结合50例错病人的治疗对螺旋的构成、种类、用途及螺旋矫治器的作用原理、制作方法、临床应用、存在问题和注意事项作了较为详尽的阐述。
A new orthodontic technique that have a good effect for treating malocclusions in developing children was introduced. The screw appliance is a type of removable appliance which has both orthopedic and ofth- odontic effects. It is able to expand whole or partial dental arch by means of an orthodontic screw and then to correct tooth malpositions through different springs so as to treat various malocclusions. In the light of treatment of 50 cases, the composition, type,use of screw and mechanism of action,manufacturing method, clinical use, present problem and points for attention of screw appliance were thoroughly discussed.
