网络媒体的崛起使新闻的生命更加短暂。周报由于出版周期较长,新闻易成"旧闻"。面对激烈的市场竞争,周报要明确市场定位、加强新闻策划、强化深度报道、凸显专业优势,化"旧闻"为"新闻",让读者闻所未闻。同时,周报应将出版周期长的劣势化转为编辑时间充裕的优势,主动介入"旧闻",挖掘深层故事,使周报新闻报道达到意想不到的效果。
Net media make news'life even shorter. For weeklies, as their publication cycle is rather long, the news published in them tends to become out of date. Facing fierce market competition, weeklies have to relocate themselves in the market, strengthen news planning and depth reports, present their professional privileges, transform "out of date news" to "news" and show the readers what is not heard. Meanwhile, weekly news shall change the disadvantage of long publishing cycle to advantage of careful editing done with enough time, actively probe into out-of-date news" to dig the depth stories so as to produce unexpected effect.
