The symmetry and the conserved quantities of three types of central force:F=F(r)e r,F=F(r)e r,and F=(α/r 2)er are discussed respectively; it is pointed out that the importance of the Eccentricity (or the Runge-Lenz) vector ε=1/|α|(αe r+V×L) in the inverse square force field.
