摘要
主流的3G制式有WCDMA、CDMA2000和TD-SCDMA三种。由于WCDMA/TD-SCDMA共用同一核心网,核心网的网络结构和演进代表了3G核心网络的发展。文章以WCDMA核心网为例介绍了软交换在3G核心网络中的应用。针对3GPP WCDMA系统的几个版本对其网络架构进行了论述,说明了各个版本的结构、所承载业务的特点及其在发展过程中的相互关联和所应用的通信系统,最后分析了软交换在3G中网络架构的演变过程及将来的研究重点。
The mainstream 3G standards include WCDMA, CDMA2000 and TD-SCDMA. Since WCDMA and TD-SCDMA share the same core network, the evolution of the core network architecture respects the development of the 3G core network. Based on WCDMA core network, this paper introduces the application of soft-switch in 3G core network. It discusses several versions of 3GPP WCDMA system focusing on the network architectures of each version, and describes the characteristics of the services carried by these versions respectively and the relationship between the versions during the process of the development. The evolution of soft-switch network architecture in the development of 3G and the researching emphasis in the future are also analysed in the paper.
