摘要
测试研究了4种木棉纤维的拉伸性能,发现木棉纤维负荷-伸长曲线的形态类似棉纤维,是线性曲线.平均断裂强度1.44 ~1.71cN,平均断裂伸长率1.83% ~4.23%,断裂伸长率的差异明显,纤维的初始模量随着产地而变化.断裂强度与纤维长度及线密度显著相关.木棉纤维的断裂伸长率低于棉纤维,断裂应力和初始模量与棉纤维接近,但是,因为其线密度低,表现为容易断裂.
The tensile property of four kinds of kapok fibers was measured. It was found that, kapok fiber has a linear load-elongation curve similar to that of cotton fiber, it's average breakage strength are 1.44 - 1.71cN, the average breakage elongation are 1.83% - 4. 23%, and the differences in the breakage elongations are obvious, the initial modulus varies with the place of kapok origin. The breakage strength has the significant correlation with fiber length and linear density. By comparing with cotton, kapok fiber has the lower tensile elongation, similar breaking tenacity and initial modulus, while easily break due to it's thin fineness.
