摘要
20世纪60年代,摇滚乐成为美国反叛青年批判社会的载体和重要武器。摇滚乐的风靡缘于20世纪50、60年代的美国社会是一个物质丰裕而精神匮乏的时代,青年人在精神上感到空虚;对摇滚的喜爱也体现出他们对自由、平等和正义的追求;传媒则在其中扮演了重要角色,使摇滚乐成为传播新文化的载体。摇滚乐传播了新的生活理念和生活态度、生活方式,对当时美国的社会生活产生了重大的影响。
Rock‘n' roll became both a kind of vehicle and an important weapon of American rebellious youth to criticize the society in 1960s. The reasons that Rock ‘n' roll become fashionable in the United States is as follows: on the one hand, the American society in 1950s and 1960s are wealthy in materials but deficient in spirit; on the other hand, the love for Rock‘ n' roll of American youth stands for their pursuit of freedom, equality and justice. The mass media becomes a crucial carrier for Rock‘n' roll to transmit new culture. New life idea, life attitude and life style are spread by means of Rock‘ n' roll, which brought great influences on American society.
