Synthesis of Verbenone via Catalytic Oxidation of α-Pinene

摘要 提供了一种由α-蒎烯经氯化铜催化氧化高选择性制备马鞭草烯酮的方法。α-蒎烯的转化率和马鞭草烯酮的选择性取决于催化剂用量、溶剂性质以及氧化剂用量等。在以乙腈为溶剂、反应温度为70℃、反应时间为6h、氯化铜用量为1%、叔丁基过氧化氢(TBHP)用量为4倍、氧气流量为25~35mL/min的最佳条件下,α-蒎烯转化率可达100%,主要产物马鞭草烯酮的产率为83.7%。 An effective synthetic method of verbenone from CuCI2 catalyzed oxidation of α-pinene was provided. The conversion of α-pinene and selectivity of verbenone depended on the quantities of catalyst, the solvent properties and the molar ratio of substrate to oxidant. Under the optimized reaction conditions (MeCN, 70℃, 6 h, 1% CuCl2, 4 fold TBHP, and 25-35 mL/min oxygen flow) the selectivity of verbenone reached the maximal value of 83.7%at 100%conversion of α-pinene.
