摘要
Female patient, 33 years old, visited the hospital on November 2, 2008. Medical history： the patient had an expression of pain when she visited doctor. She complained that she had worked in a restaurant from 2：00 am to 10：00 am everyday for more than 2 years. Due to half-bending position during working at low table for a long time, her lumbar region had to be at tense and traction state, which developed discomforts in lumbar region and pain. The pain was waned and waxed, aggravated at working and relieved after resting. She gave up her job because of the aggravated pain in lumbar region and difficult extension recently. Physical examination： normal lumbar vertebra without deformities such as lateral bending, pressing pain discovered on processus spinosus of L2 - L4 and mild tenderness palpated on bilateral lumbar muscles in prone position. Lumbar muscle strain was diagnosed according to the manifestations above. Due to its fixed pain, qi and blood stagnation was differentiated in this syndrome.
