摘要
锡伯族是一个十分重视教育,人均受教育水平较高的民族。历史上,新疆锡伯族办学较早,特别是清末西迁后便开始施行双语教学。如今新疆锡伯族不仅基本实现了"民汉兼通",而且不少人兼通数种兄弟民族语言,被称为"翻译民族"。新疆锡伯族教育发展的基本经验,尤其是双语教育的经验,对我国民族教育具有重要的参考意义。
Xibo is a minority which pays special attention to education, so average Xibo receives more and higher education. Historically, Xibo in Xinjiang established school education relative early, especially in the end of Qing Dynasty, the Xibo having migrated to the westward had realized the importance of learning Chi- nese in their farming and daily lives, so they began their bilingual education at schools which lasted for hundreds of years. After the policy of reforming and opening - up, bilingual education was once prosperous a- gain. Currently, most Xibo in Xinjiang are able to able to speak Uygur, Khazak, Mogolian, Russian speak Mandarin besides their mother tongue, some are even languages etc. Because of this, Xibo is also called ＂minority of translators＂. The experience of Xibo＇s education in the last 240 years, especially their bilingual education is significant for us to develop minority education.
