摘要
隐喻作为一种语言现象和认知现象在日常生活中无处不在。通过对英汉两种语言中隐喻概念运用的分析比较,可以发现隐喻作为人类基本的认知活动具有普遍性和共性。但是英汉两种语言中不同的思维方式和文化模式导致了在隐喻的生成和理解上存在着差异。在此,将对英汉隐喻生成的共性和个性进行研究,并探讨产生共性及个性的原因。
As a kind of human linguistic and cognitive phenomenon,metaphors can be seen everywhere in our daily life. Through the analysis and comparison of the use of metaphor in English and Chinese,it can be found that metaphor, as a basic human cognitive activity,has its universality and commonality. However,different ways of thinking and different cultural patterns in English and Chinese result in some differences in formation and understanding of metaphor. In this paper, the commonality and individuality of metaphorical formation in English and Chinese are studied, as well as the reasons of commonality and individuality.
