摘要
近代以来华侨多居于东南亚地区。他们逐步接受包括东南亚本土文化和西方文化在内的各种迥然不同的文化信息,并将接收到的现代教育理念运用于家乡的办学实践,逐渐形成类似当今校董会领导下的校长负责制为主的学校管理体系,侨校本身拥有较充分的自主管理权。这些都使得民国时期侨校蕴含着许多现代性因素,亦是该时期闽南侨办学校蓬勃发展,并取得良好办学效果的重要原因。
Most overseas Chinese lived in southeast Asia. Gradually, they adapted themselves to all kinds of different cultures,including the native and the western cultures. They applied the modem educational ideas involved in southeast Asia to the practice of schools promoted in thcir hometowns.They began slowly to form an available school management system.In addition, thcy had more autonomy of school management. All these led to the modern factors of the schools promoted by overseas Chinese,and these were thc reason why the schools can get excellent results.
