摘要
目的:研究信号传导和转录激活因子3(STAT3)和血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)在涎腺肿瘤中的表达与涎腺肿瘤恶性程度的关系。方法:采用免疫组织化学方法检测49例涎腺肿瘤和16例正常涎腺组织中STAT3和VEGF的表达。结果:在涎腺肿瘤中,STAT3和VEGF在恶性肿瘤组的表达水平明显高于良性肿瘤组,两组间有显著性差异(p<0.05);涎腺良性肿瘤组高于正常涎腺组织,两者表达水平亦有显著性差异(p<0.05)。STAT3和VEGF的表达呈显著正相关(p<0.05)。结论:STAT3和VEGF的表达水平与涎腺肿瘤的恶性程度密切相关,且两者的协同可能在涎腺肿瘤的发生、发展过程中起重要作用。两者的相关性支持VEGF基因由STAT3蛋白调节的观点,抑制STAT3蛋白通路可能成为一条治疗涎腺肿瘤的新途径。
Objective:To study the relationship between the expression of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in salivary gland tumor and the degree of malignant,as well as their significance. Method:The expression of STAT3 and VEGF in 49 cases of salivary gland tumor and 16 cases of normal salivary gland tissues were detected by immunohistochemical assay. Result:The positive rates of expression of STAT3 and VEGF were significantly higher (p〈0.05) in the malignant salivary gland tumor group than that in the benign salivary gland tumor group, while the benign salivary gland group was significantly higher (p〈0.05) than that in normal salivary tissue. The expression of STAT3 was positively correlated to the expression of VEGF (p〈0.05) in the salivary gland tumor. Conclusion: The expression of STAT3 and VEGF are closely related to the degree of salivary gland tumor malignance,and they play an important role in the pathogenesis and development of salivary gland tumor. It conform to the paint of view that VEGF gene is regulated directly by STAT3 protein. The inhibition of STAT3 pathway may become a new way to treat salivary gland tumor.
