Objective: To investigate the cell immune status of prisoners with of Guangdong province for offering reference to prevention and treatment HIV/AIDS, analysis were used for CD4^+ T lymphocyte counts in 436 prisoners with HIV/AIDS in HIV/AIDS in prison system Methods: Flow cytometry prison system of Guangdong province. Results and Conclusion: 24. 5% of 436 HIV positive prisoners had CD4^+ T lymphocyte counts lower than 200/μL, 26. 6% from 200/μL to 349/p,L, and 48.9% more than 350/p,L. The CD4^+ T lymphocyte count had significant difference among different age groups, and the CD4^+T lymphocyte counts in patients over 25 years old trended to decrease with increasing age. Compared to the first test results, the CD4^+T lymphocyte counts of 201 cases without therapy obviously decreased after 3 months, CD4^+ T lymphocyte counts of 20 cases with therapy obviously increased inversely. It shows that CD4 ^+ T lymphocyte counts of HIV/AIDS patients should be detected and followed periodically to comprehend the change of their immune status, and antiviral therapy should be offered energetically to improve their immune status.
