分析了《红字》中红字"A"丰富而深刻的内涵,指出作者通过塑造"小珠儿"的形象,增强了美与丑,善与恶的对比,寄托了作者对爱的绝对自由的向往。
The author gives many rich and profound meanings of the scarlet letter A to contract beauty with ugliness besides kindness and evil. Moreover, Hawthorne reposes too much hope by molding the image of Pearl.
