摘要
"序曲体"是凯瑟琳.曼斯菲尔德对旧有短篇小说的文体结构模式进行革新的一大成果。"序曲体"因其小说《序曲》而得名。从内涵上看,"序曲体"是建立于多重视角叙述模式上的更为灵活自由的文体形式;其文体特征即为自然展开,完全开放;"序曲体"的出现具有一定影响,"序曲体"不仅是曼斯菲尔德个人在短篇小说创作上的一个有意义的开拓,同时也是英国短篇小说史的一个重要成果。
Katherine Mansfield＇s ＂prelude style＂ or new style for short stories won its name from her story Prelude and is an innovation in style and in structure for the short stories. In terms of implica- tions, ＂prelude style＂ is a more flexible style based on the multi--narrative perspectives. In terms of style, it is more natural in development and more flexible. This ＂prelude style＂ not only reflects Mansfield＇s own contribution to the creation of short stories, but also has great influence and significance in the history of British short stories.
