摘要
清末民初时期,广州率先确立市制,实现了城乡分治,并通过借鉴美国委员会制以及开展市政革新,初步构建了一整套具有深远影响的近代市政制度,进而引发和推动了一场轰轰烈烈的市政建设,而彼时市政制度演进中复杂和艰巨的历程也成为值得今天借鉴西制的宝贵财富。
At the end of Qing Dynasty and early years of the Republic of China, Guangzhou took the lead to establish the municipal administration institutions, separating the governance of town and countryside and carrying on innovations by referring to the American committee system. Through the above measures, the city set up a series of modern municipal administration institutions which promoted the vigorous construction. The evolution of municipal administration institutions at that time is still helpful today.
