摘要 红细胞生成素(erythropoietin,EPO)是一种特异性作用于红系祖细胞的造血生长因子。最近的研究表明,EPO对卒中后脑损伤具有重要的神经保护作用,主要机制包括神经营养、抗神经细胞凋亡.抑制继发性炎症反应、抑制兴奋性氨基酸毒性、维持血管完整性和促进血管生成、促进神经发生以及抗氧化应激。 Erythropoietin (EPO) is a hematopoietic growth factor that has a specific role on erythroid progenitor cells. Recent studies have suggested that EPO has the important neuroprotective effect on brain damage following stroke, and its major mechanisms include neurotrophy, anti-neuronal apoptosis, inhibition of secondary inflammatory response and excitatory amino acid toxicity, maintenance of vascular integrity and promoting angiogenesis, promoting neurogenesis, as well as anti-oxidative stress.
