The extraction of Ln3+ (Ln=La,Pr,Nd,Gd) from nitric acid solutions with bis (1phenyl3methyl5pyrazolone4yl) ethanedione (H2BPMPED or H2A) has been studied. The composition of extracted compounds of Lathanide is shown to be Ln BPMPED·HBPMPED by the methods of slop and equimolar series. The pH values of half of extraction and thermodynamic function of extracted reaction have been determined.
