摘要
本文在简介53131A计数器基本性能的基础上,描述了直接计数器和倒数计数器工作原理的优缺点,及如何通过设置调节灵敏度避免噪声触发、利用计数器的低通滤波器、使用手动触发和DC耦合获得更好的测量结果的方法。同时叙述了在LabVIEW8.5开发环境下,利用VISA与仪器硬件接口无关的特性,以计算机为控制器实现与53131A计数器的GPIB接口进行通讯的控制方法,经应用证明此方法简单实用,对灵活应用仪器程控功能和从事自动测试程序设计者具有参考借鉴价值。
The paper described the advantages and disadvantages of the direct Universal Counter and reciprocal Universal Counter and the method of how to set the sensitivity of the instrument to eliminate the noise and the use of lowpass in the Universal Counter, trigger manually and DC coupling to obtain a better result based on the fundamental function of the 53131A Universal Counter. And the paper also described the method how to control the PC communicated with GPIB interface of the counter using the characteristics of the VISA which is independent of the interfaces of the instrument in LabVIEW8.5. The method is quite simple and practical and it supplies a valuable reference to programmers who work on automatic measurement.
