摘要
福建近代藏书家康爵,毕生治学严谨,著作颇丰,喜爱藏书,专长于志书和目录学,创办涵江图书馆,并化私藏为公藏,为史学研究和图书馆事业做出了不可磨灭的贡献。
Modern book-collector Kang Jue specialized in district annals and bibliography, was noted for his meticulous scholarship. He, who wrote many books and was keen on book-collecting. Later, he set up Hanjiang Library and transferred all his books in it. He made a great contribution to the cause of library and historical study.
