表皮更新时间是研究外来物，包括化妆品、药物或其他因素影响表皮功能的一个重要指标。作为表皮更新的最终产物，表皮角质层的更新时间可以评价表皮的功能；介绍了用丹磺酰氯荧光标记法检测表皮角质层更新时间的基本原理、方法步骤和应用实例。
The epidermal cell renewal is an important indicator effecting external substances,including cosmetics and drugs,on epidermal function.Turnover time of the stratum corneum,as the end product of epidermal renewal,is used as a measurement of epidermal function.The basic principle,procedure and examples of the dansyl chloride fluorescence labelling technique are described.
