This paper expounds the present situation of university librarians, probes into the importance and necessity of improving librarians＇ quality, and from the angle of the self-access learning, discusses the effective methods for improving the librarians＇ quality, and further discusses the close relation between the improvement of librarians＇ quality and the self-access learning.
