摘要
在深入研究零树小波压缩编码算法的基础上,提出了一种改进的零树小波编码算法.即首先用haar小波基对图像进行小波分解,分解后的图像作EZW编码后,不立即对图像进行解码,而是在EZW解码之前加入了Huff-man编解码的过程.实验结果证明,该算法较EZW算法在一定程度上提高了图像的压缩质量和编码效率.
Based on the deep research on zerotree wavelet compression encoding algorithm, a kind of improved wavelet zerotree encoding algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the haar wavelet basis was used to carry out the wavelet decomposition of the image. After the decomposition image, the EZW encoding was made, not decoding the image immediately, but before the EZW decoding, the Huffman encoding and decoding process was included. The experimental results prove that this algorithm, compared with the EZW algorithm, improves the image compression quality and the encoding efficiency to a certain extent.
