SYNTHESES AND ADSORPTION PROPERTIES OF NEW CHELATING RESINS CONTAINING SULFUR AND NITROGEN ATOMS

摘要 Chelating resins that contain sulfur and nitrogen atoms as the coordinating sites to metal ions exhibit good adsorption properties for transition metals, especially for precious metals. Because the organic sulfur and nitrogen compounds are generally defined as soft or intermediate bases, while the precious metal ions as soft and intermediate acids, they can easily combine to form stable complexes.
