摘要
本文主要回顾了我国干旱区地理学近40年来的主要进展,及从事干旱区地理研究科学队伍的不朽功绩,提出了今后的研究方向与主要任务。
The arid area in Our country is more than 2500000km^2, Covers more thanone fouth of total area of territory. It has been built up an integrated system ofobserving network by fixing position, accumulating a number of science infor-mation. Having worked for forty years, we have priliminary understood thenatural Condition and natural resource in this area. publishing a great deal ofscience in vestigation report, research monography and making up articles. Itwas given great instruction to develop and utilize this area. Chinese arid landgeography has been developed on base of hard work for nearly forty years.Main tasks in future is research emphasising On arid land resources andenvironmental problems, closely serving for socialist construction, progressivelybuilding up theory system for chinese arid land geography.
