摘要
西南工学院位于四川新兴科学城绵阳市。改革开放以来,该院大胆探索,走出了一条通过校董事会参与办学和管理,产、学、研有机结合的办学新路,建立了一支以校内教师为主、以董事单位科技专家为辅的强大教师队伍,建立了以校内实验室和企业互为补充的教学实践网络,为学校现代化提供了广阔的空间和发展后劲。目前,该院董事单位有国家建材局、绵阳市政府。
Southwest College of Technology is located in Mianyang City-a rising science city in Sichuan Province. Since the reform and opening-up, the college has found a new road of integrating teaching, production and research by enabling the college board of directors to participate in teaching and management. Co- operated with Canada Laurandin University, it applied to Canada International Development Office for the large project of the Western China Remote Teaching Center and received the approval.
