Using the new developed oneatomstate method of pure metals, the electronic structures of the outer shell electrons of V, Nb and Ta metals have been analyzed systematically, and been determined to be (4sf)0.27 (4sc)1.24 (3dc)3.49, (5sf)0.32 (5sc)0.39 (4dc)4.29 and (6sf)0.43 (6sc)0.17 (5dc)4.40, respectively. The bond length and strength of these metals have also been determined. The conductivity of V, Nb and Ta metals discussed qualitatively and relative magnitude of resistivity were well explained.
