Scientific and technical progress is an important factor in developing sports and modem hitech has moulded gold medals in sports. At the time when we are marching towards the 21 century, the application of science and technology to developing sports is of greater significance and functions. Behind the world sports competitions lies the competition of science and technology. We should feasibly take science and technology as the first productive force while developing our sports, put more budget into it because material conditions are the basis of applying science and technology to developing sports.In order to speed up the change, to set up and better the new systen of applying science and technology to developing sports, we must painstakingly promote the implementation of this policy from the legal system.
