摘要
雕塑,作为公共艺术,它当然在环境艺术中占有重要地位,而旅游景观的开发,又与环境艺术、城市雕塑有着极为密切的关系。我们谈城市雕塑,谈旅游景点的开发和环境艺术,其实这三者本是一码事,人们所以有上述不同的称谓,只不过就其不同的功用而有所侧重,或者说角度不同而已。
1) Relationship Between Sculpture and Adorning of Tourist AttractionsTourist attractions, whether natural, ancient architecture, or newly-bullt artificial landscape, all cannot do without the art of sculpture. In fact, even the souvenirs for sale are chiefly mini works of sculpture with great aesthetic value. Therefore, sculpture is an integral part of tourist resorts, they are complementary to each other.2) Urban Sculpture in Development of Tourist Resorts Currently, the development of tourist resorts is showing an inevitable trend, that is to combine itself with urban sculpture, or be set as an integral part of the overall city planning. Hence, the decision makers of the governmental administration cannot ignore this trend in making a complete urban plan and regard sculpturing merely as a matter of tourism administration.3) Current Status of Sculpture in Tourism Recent years have seen a rapid development in China's tourism. During this period quite a number of remarkable sculptures have been set up in various parts of the country, for example, the sculptures of Chinese fable stories in parks of Wuhan City, and Museum of Ancient Culture in Jin and Shang Dynasties in the vicinity of Taiyuan City. However, a number of disappointing sculptures also have sprung up in some places, for example, the Wind of Antique Imitation, which includes a great many inferior statutes of Buddha and statutes of beautiful women in ancient clothes. In brief, the issue of sculpture must accept input from sculptural specialists.4) Tourism Needs Input of Sculptors
