摘要
高等学校英语应用能力考试(口试)是专门用来测试高职高专学生的口语表达能力,特别是在工作第一线使用英语、通过口头交际来完成一般性业务活动能力的考试。这门考试在目的、内容、过程、命题原则、评分标准方面强调实用性;通过利用现代化的多媒体技术加强其可操作性,便于大规模推广。考试由朗读、提问—回答问题、翻译和陈述4个部分组成。成绩分优秀、合格、不合格3个等级。
College Practical English Test(oral)is designed for measuring the professional college students'ability to use English orally for the real- life situations where they should accomplish specific and practical business tasks.The test stresses on practicality in terms of its goal,contents,process, item-setting principles and marking schemes,and on practicality in terms of its testing procedures for the purpose of administration on a large scale.It consists of 4 parts—aloud reading,asking-and- answering questions,Chinese-to-English translation and presentation.Its reporting grades are excellence, pass and failure.
