摘要
"春"一词的命名理据,实源于"屯"。"屯"的本义为"草木之初生",而"春"一词实际上是"屯"的引申义。"春"字的"从屯,从(),从日"的甲骨文形体,是在所从分化的"屯"字的基础上加上部件"",以强化春天开始草木萌芽之义,又加上部件"日",以表现春天和太阳的运动有关。从发生学的角度而言,"春"的形体构造为会意字。
The Chinese character of'spring'originally traces back to the extension of another character 'tun'(means the sprouts of grasses and trees).The form of the character'spring'is formed by adding'cao'(to strengthen the blooming in spring)and'ri'(to show the season spring is relative to the motion of the sun)to'tun'.
