摘要
阐述了语言和文化的关系,提出在英语教学中,不仅要培养学生的语言素质,还要培养学生的文化素养。文化内涵已成为英语教学中应当重视的新问题。
The paper offers a clear analysis of the two close-related elements:language and culture and points out that language and culture cannot exist without each other.Therefore,English teachers should not only cul- tivate students' language skills,but also cultural attainments in teaching.Cultural education has become a new,serious and urgent problem in English teaching.
