摘要
7至9世纪是爱尔兰修道院的黄金时代,在中世纪欧洲历史上占有重要的地位。本文考察了5至12世纪爱尔兰修道院网形成的三个历史阶段和繁荣的社会历史条件及对欧洲的蛮族社会产生的深刻影响。但由于罗马教廷集权化的时代要求、北欧海盗的强势入侵以及修道院内部缺陷等因素导致其衰败。它的兴衰发展折射出中世纪欧洲基督教社会从独立、分散逐步走向融合,最后臻于一统的历史大势。
It is the flowering age of the Irish monasteries between seventh century and nineth century,which dominated an important role in medieval Europe.This paper reviews the three formed-phases of the net of Irish cloisters and a series of advantaged conditions,and far-reaching effects on the early Barbarian Europe.Irish monasteries have waned because of the periodic centralization background of Rome Church,the Vikingsinvasion and the fatal defects of themselves.Finally,the rise and fall of them reflect the trends of Christian society from decentralization to intregration in Medieval Europe.
