The biological effects of IFN-γ on scar-derived fibroblasts

摘要 目的探讨瘢痕成纤维细胞生物学活动的调控因素。方法以瘢痕成纤维细胞为研究对象,观察基因重组γ干扰素(下简称IFN-γ)对瘢痕组织中成纤维细胞的生长增殖、胶原合成及其重构等生物学活动的影响。结果 IFN-γ可以抑制瘢痕成纤维细胞的生长增殖、胶原合成以及胶原纤维凝胶的收缩。结论表明IFN-γ是创伤修复与瘢痕形成过程中的一种负性调节因子,有望在病理性瘢痕的防治中发挥重要作用。 Objective The biological activities of fibroblasts are the main cellular activities in scar formation. However, the fibroblasts are modulated by many factors. Investigating these factors is important to understanding scar formation. Methods This study focused on the effects of recombi- nantinterferon-r (IFN-γ) on the growth, collagen biosynthesis of fibroblasts and the contraction of fi- brobalast-populated collagen lattices. Results The results showed that rIFN-γ not only could reduce the growth and collagen synthesis of scar-derived fibroblasts, but also inhibit the contraction of fihroh- last-populated collagen lattices. Conclusion The authors confirm that IFN-γ is a cytokine with down- regulation effect on scar formation, and suggest that rIFN-γ can play an important role in the prevention and treatment of scars.
