Too Early to Abolish the Separation of the Subjects between Arts and Science in high school

摘要 文理分科是我国高中教育普遍实行的一种教学模式,它与高校招生分科考试密切相关。为了选拔适于学科专业学习的新生,高校招生分科考试有其必要性和合理性,但由此衍生的高中盲目、过早文理分科问题,则不利于学生的全面发展。为了促进人才培养,应优化高考科目组合,引导基础教育全面发展;采取有效举措,矫正高中过早分科弊端;适当增加高中选修课,真正发挥会考的积极作用。 The separation of the subjects between Arts and Science in high school is a generally implemented teaching mode of our country, which is closely related to separation of the subjects between Arts and Science in the College Entrance Examination. Separation of the subjects between Arts and Science in the College Entrance Examination is necessary and rational for colleges to select suitable candidates. However, it has adverse effect on the students' all around development because some high schools separate those subjects blindly and prematurely. In order to promote personnel fostering, the author concludes that the College Entrance Examination should have optimized mix of subjects to guide the comprehensive development of basic education. Secondly, effective measures should be taken to rectify the drawbacks of high school premature division. At last, selective courses should be appropriately increased in high school, and the concourse should play an active role.
