Wu Yousheng, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and scientist who has engaged himself in marine and offshore engineering research for many years, is always expecting that our nation can move into deepwater operation. During the 2009 NPC and CPPCC sessions, for the second time, he urged the central government to take expeditious actions to push forward deepwater development.
