摘要 耳石是头足类生态的重要信息载体,掌握其形态特征是渔业生物学研究的基础。根据2007年7~10月我国鱿钓船在西北太平洋海域连续采集的202尾柔鱼,对其耳石形态特征进行观察与测量。研究发现,柔鱼耳石具有宽大的翼区和长窄的吻区。对耳石9项形态参数进行主成分分析,结果显示,耳石总长(TSL)、吻区长(RL)、翼区长(WL)可以作为耳石长度特征的代表,吻区宽(RW)、翼区宽(WW)则可代表耳石宽度特征。耳石长度参数TSL、RL和WL与胴长存在显著的幂函数关系(P<0.05),而耳石宽度参数RW和WW与胴长之间则无显著函数关系(P>0.05)。性成熟对耳石生长有一定的影响。性成熟等级为Ⅰ~Ⅱ期的个体,其TSL增长较快,而Ⅲ~Ⅳ期个体的TSL增长不明显。 Statolith in the cephalopod is an important source of ecological information, and mastering the morphologic features of the statolith is fundamental to fisheries biology. A total of 202 squids, Ommastrephes bartramii, were collected by a Chinese squid jigging boat during July to October in 2007 in the northwest Pacific Ocean. The morphologic features of their statoliths were observed and measured. The results indicated that the statolith of O. bartramii has a structure with wide wings and long, narrow rostrum domes. The result of principal component analysis on 9 morphologic indices show that the total statolith length (TSL), rostrum length (RL) and wing length (WL) can be used to represent the length features of the statolith, the rostrum width (RW) and wing width (WW) may reflect its width features. The relationship between the featuredlength of statolith including TSL, RL and WL, and mantle length were best described by power functions (P 〈 0.05), while its featured-width such as RW and WW has no significant relations with the mantle length (P 〉0.05). The results also indicated that the sexual maturity has an obvious effect on the growth of the statolith. When the sexual maturity stage of squid was between stages Ⅰ and Ⅲ, its TSL increased obviously, while for their squid with their sexual maturity stages from Ⅲ to Ⅳ, its TSL increased slowly.
