在苏联从1927年开始了继续医学教育。在过去的50多年里,继续医学教育有了巨大的发展,并成为一项卫生人员发展的主要组成部分。与其他国家比较,苏联在继续医学教育方面有如下六个特点。这是:1.继续医学教育由卫生行政当局所管理。2.全部卫生人员义务参加系统的继续医学教育。3.它是适应专业方向。4.培训方法是依据专业的特点和卫生人员的地理分布情况灵活制定。5.在管理上,各种层次水平上的继续医学教育被贯彻执行。6.对已经完成继续医学教育的卫生人员给予鼓励和奖金。
In the Soviet Union, continuing medical education (CME) began in 1927. Over the past five decades, CME had been greatly developed, and became an important component of the health manpower development. In comparison with other countries, there are six features in Soviet CME, that is: (1) CME is administrated by the health authorities; (2) it is compulsory that all staff members in health care system take part in the CME; (3) it is professionoriented; (4) the training methods are fiesible according to the professional features and geographical distribution of health personnel; (5) administratively, CME is implemented at various levels (6) those health personnel who have completed CME are given an encouragement and reward.
