摘要
旅游地理学是近30年来发展迅猛的地理学分支学科,取得了明显的社会效应,有力地促进了地理学学科发展。但旅游地理学研究内容纷繁复杂,研究主题分散,核心内容未能突凸,过分重视实践性应用等导致了旅游地理学理论和方法未能得到迅速提升,学科地位有被弱化和边缘化的趋势。在今后的研究与发展中,旅游地理学应以地理学的传统——以人地关系地域系统为核心的区域性、综合性、应用性等为基础,聚焦于旅游业地域景观系统——旅游产业地域综合体研究,重点研究旅游产业地理,即旅游产业的形成基础、空间分布、空间格局的形成演化、机制、产业集群、产业地域整合与提升等,只有这样,才能在众多的关于旅游现象研究的学科之中充分发挥地理学的优势,树立其主体地位,推进旅游地理学的理论、方法及应用的全方位发展。
In recent thirty years, the geography of tourism as a branch of geographical studies has enjoyed a rapid development with obvious social rewards and added much nourishment to the development of geographical studies. However, its contents are very complicated and its core has not been clarified. The overemphasis on its practicality has led to the poor results in its theoretical exploration and its marginalization as a discipline. Its future research and development should rely on its traditional studies, that is, the focus on the relation between man and land with a consideration of its regional, integrated and practical traits, the tourism industry with its landscape as a whole, the establishment of tourism industry, its emergence, mechanism, distribution, and integration for a healthy and overall development the geography of tourism.
