During 18th century and the late 19th, the tea road, with an entire journey over fifty thousand miles, extended from Mt. Wuyi to Moscow, Russia. In this paper, the author, based on the tea flowing on the Sino- Russian business road, discusses the relationship between the people and the object in the material culture spread and how a local product receives a new cultural implication in the world landscape during the global trade network forming procedure. Through the angle of culture, the business of Wuyi tea in Russia between 18th century and the middle of 19th, is not only the expansion of business route, the channel of wealth, and the transformation of European daily life, but also a process in which this business has acquired a new authenticity after the object leaves its original soil and remoulds in the foreign context.
