摘要
"奴"本义为"罪人",不分男女,析言则男为"奴"女为"婢";魏晋南北朝时发展为对称之词,多表对男子的爱称;唐五代时,可作男女自称的谦词;宋代以后,"奴"则多用于妇女自称之词,为贱称。方言中称"奴"者众,至今仍在各方言区广泛使用。
Chinese Character＂ Nu＂ meant＂ ancient criminal＂ at the very beginning. Male was named ＂nu＂while female was named ＂bi＂. In Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties it was developed to call opposite-party, specially in man＇ s pet name. ＂Nu＂ was used as a ties. Women called themselves ＂nu＂from Song so far. modest word for both male and female in Tang and Five Dynasdynasty. ＂Nu＂ is still broadly used in local language in many places
