摘要
本文提出了容错计算系统中数据可信性的概念。同时提出一种容错计算系统的初步方案,详尽地研究了用各种线性反馈移位寄存器进行数据压缩而产生误认的充分必要条件。并给出一种电路设计,以防止由双错所引起的误认。
This paper provides a conceptual description of data dependability, and proposes a primary scheme of a fault-tolerant computing system. One of the fundamental research topics for the scheme is data compression. Linear Feedback Shift Registers ( LFSRs )are suggested to compress the data, but prone to aliasing errors due to some specific types of error patterns.Based on a penetrating mathemat ical analysis for various structures of LFSRs, necessary and sufficient conditions for aliasing errors are presented, and a design for data compressor is proposed which will prevent any aliasing double errors.Such prevention cannot be obtained by any extension of an LFSR.
