Expression of transforming growth factor β_1 in human vocal fold polyps

摘要 目的:研究转化生长因子β1(TGFβ-1)在声带息肉中的表达,探讨声带息肉的发病机制。方法:应用免疫组织化学SP法检测TGFβ-1在37例声带息肉(声带息肉组)及11例正常人声带(对照组)中的表达,并对其阳性表达结果进行比较。结果:TGFβ-1在声带息肉组中表达阳性率为56.76%,阳性细胞数为22.55±27.31;在对照组中表达阳性率为18.18%,阳性细胞数为2.53±3.75,两者相比均差异有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。TGF-β1在声带息肉组固有层浸润细胞的表达明显高于对照组声带组织。在声带息肉组中,男、女TGF-β1的表达差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:TGF-β1可能直接参与声带息肉的病理变化,促进细胞外基质积聚、局部纤维化,参与声带息肉的形成和发展。控制细胞因子TGFβ-1在声带息肉中的产生,可能为声带息肉的治疗提供一种新的方法。 Objective: To analyze the expression of transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF β1 )in human vocal fold polyps, and explore the pathogenesis of vocal fold polyp. Method:The expression of TGF-β1 were detected in 37 examples of vocal fold polys and 11 healthy vocal folds by immunohistochemical staining (SP method). Meanwhile, the positive results were compared. Result:The percent of positive expression of TGF-β1 was 56.76 % and the number of positive cells was 22.55±27.31 in vocal fold polyps, both of which were significantly increased compared with the percent of positive expression of TGF-β1 (18. 18%) and the number of positive cells (2. 53 ± 3. 75) in healthy vocal folds(P〈0.05). The positive expression of TGF β1 in stroma cells of vocal cord polyps was significantly higher than that in the healthy vocal cords. There was no significant difference of TGF-β1 between the vocal fold polyps of male and female(P〉0.05). Conclusion:TGF-β1 may participate in some pathologic changes in vocal cord polyps, such as extracellular matrix accumulation, local fibrosis and formation and development of vocal cord polyps. Manipulating the TGF-β1 expression in vocal cord polyps may supply a new treatment method.
