实时交互式远程教育环境服务器的设计与实现

摘要 针对传统远程教育环境实时交互性不足的缺陷,提出了一种基于Windows Sockets的高性能实时交互式远程教育环境服务器的设计方法,该服务器能同时为多个网络虚拟教室提供实时交互式的网络教育服务,每个网络教室能在教师主控、分组讨论和自由讨论等三种模式间动态切换,四级权限管理机制能有效地维护教学活动正常进行,实现了以一台普通的PC机作为服务器也能提供较大规模的实时交互式远程教育活动环境。 Aiming at the drawbacks and deficiencies of conventional distance educational environment in real-time interactivity, the paper puts forward a design method of high-quality real-time interactive distance educational environment server(RIDEE for short) based on Windows Sockets. The server can provide real-time interactive network teaching services for several virtual classrooms at the same time. Moreover, each network classroom can switch dynamically among the modes of traditional classroom, group discussion and free discussion, four-level right permission management can safeguard effectively regular teaching activities. Only running on a common PC, the server can provide the large-scale realtime interactive teaching activities.
