摘要
本文探讨美国黑人妇女最常见的四个刻板形象(保姆、荡妇、福利母亲、母老虎)形成的历史背景,所包含的多重压迫因素,对黑人妇女的身心影响,说明美国社会的变迁和各种社会话语与权力的互动作用。
This paper examines the historical background within which the four most popular stereotypes of African-American women,namely, nannies, whores, welfare mothers, and nasty and unreasonable women, came about. These stereotypes suggest that African-American women were subject to multiple layers of oppression, which have left immense impact on these women. The rise of these stereotypes results from the interaction between social discourse and the oppressed.
