摘要
阐述了蔡铁鹰先生长达20多年的《西游记》成书研究的进程,认为蔡铁鹰先生关于《西游记》的成书研究首先从源头上寻找制约因素,并在前人成果的基础上多有创新,构成了近年《西游记》研究的重要进展,尤其是以近著《〈西游记〉的诞生》为代表的《西游记》成书研究,打破了多年来这一研究的停滞而创造出一个崭新的局面。同时认为蔡铁鹰先生艰辛努力所取得的一些研究方法值得提倡。
For over twenty years, Cai Tieying has been devoted to the research on the writing process of A Journey to the West. He traces back to the very beginning of the writing process, innovates on the basis of preceding researches and makes great breakthroughs in pertinent researches. His recent work The Birth of A Journey to the West succeeds in breaking the ice in recent years and ushers in a brand-new stage of research. Moreover, some of the research methods as a result of his painstaking efforts should be advocated.
